Goa Tours - The Land of Bacchus

Goa is a not to be missed place for a traveler. My Goa Travel still fascinate me as I have seen life and enjoyment in true sense in this cosmopolitan state of India. As I am a fun lover and religious at the same time I didn’t miss anything in Goa. The gorgeous beaches of Goa indeed enthralled me. I visited almost all the beaches of Goa and explored its unique beauty. There is always a cosmopolitan flavor in Goa beaches. I have seen more foreigners than Indian nationals here. The local Indians are mostly traders here.

While in Goa I visited most of the temples and gothic churches. Old Goa houses many temples and churches. It is said that Portuguese destroyed a lot many temples in Goa as it was earlier a colony of Portuguese. The Saraswati Hindu temple survived the attack of the Portuguese. I was fascinated by the temple rituals and festivities and tried some rituals like an Indian. I also explored the temples -the Shanta Durga temple, the Ganapati temple, the Maha Laxmi temple, the Shri Nagesh Maharudra temple. My Goa Tour package also included exploration of the Goa Basilica of Bom Jesus and Goa Se Cathedral. The other tourist attractions in Goa that I visited are its forts and shopping centers. I tried shopping at Anguna Flea Market. I bought some souvenirs here.

I explored in Goa the unspoiled beaches, swaying palm trees, sunny weather and azure blue Arabian Sea. I tried some water sports near the beaches. But the most enchanting was the Goan carnival; I had fortunate enough to witness this grand festival in Goa. It is a festival of color, music and song which symbolizes the fun loving culture of Goa. So my tour to Goa is always refreshing in my mind. Imagine what a grand preparation and participation? Fierce battles were staged on the streets. Lavish Foods were eaten. Street plays, songs, dances, and farces were all parts of the carnival. The audience was even so enthusiastic; so many fellow travelers like me took part in the festivals.

The sea foods of Goa hotel were some delicious dishes I ate in my life. The beach restaurants serve a wide array of mouth-watering sea foods. Dining was a fun to me here. If you plan a trip to Goa never forget to experience its music and dance life. Drink and eat here as Goa is the city of merrymaking.
